You hope Apple doesn't try to muscle into the console market but wonder if Nintendo is to buy Apple? HUH?? _What_ are you smoking?

also the GC is NOT very similar to the mac... yeah sure it uses a PPC, but it is HEAVILY modified, as is the gfx card....

the GC and nintendo are fine all by themselves... maybe a strategic alliance... but I doubt it... <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    Nintendo?

How about Apple done another jogress evolution with BanDai? Pippin 02 (2002)?

BanDai's current Digital Hub is the WonderSwan, but... it feels more like a traveling Recreation Vehicle than a house.

Apple's Digital Hub concept might go along with some of BanDai's digital devices. Digital Gate Open!

Anyay. Here are some pictures of what happen if Apple's style crossed with Nintendo.

Gamecube is nothing like a mac. The cpu is a PowerPC variant. Much more like the embedded stuff than the G3/G4.

Video chip is waaaaaayyy different. Just cuz it has the ATI name on it doesn't mean it is in any way related. In fact, ATI didn't even develop the chip. They bought the company that did well after it was designed for the Gamecube. There is no real ATI tech in the Gamecube at all.
