I went to www.pricewatch.com looked up hardware prices to make a comparable dual chip AMD Athlon 2800MP System. Here is the prices that I came up with. Mid-Tower ATX Case $100.00, 1.44 Floppy $20.00, DVD-R/RW Drive $250.00, Mainboard w/2 2800MP $800.00, 2 512MB PC2100 DDR ECC REG $200.00, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Ultra 128mb DDR $200.00, SATA Controller $50.00, 56k Modem $10.00, 2 120gb SATA Harddrives $250.00, Keyboard/Mouse $30.00 for the OS I would run Redhat Linux and it's free. The computer that I listed above would toast a new G5 Mac. Last weekend I bought 512MB DDR400 PC3200 for $60.00 at Fry's Electronics. AMD doesn't have any MP Proccessors that are up to 400Mhz bus speeds yet. In the hardware prices Apple is cornholeing their users. At least Apple is doing something right using a unix based operating system.

Who the hell cares!? You come to a Mac forums to tell us that. Dude, if I wanted to play GTA III and Battlefield 1942 I would build that. If wanted to use what I use to make a living, like Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Photoshop, and stuff like that, and ACTUALLY GET SH!T DONE...I'll stick with my Mac. And damn, I can even play my favorite games on my Mac (Thanks Aspyr). I don't understand why you PC trolls insist on coming in here thinking you can convert Mac users to the dark side. No thanks, keep your system crashes and cheap hardware.

Safari's bug for sure. Internet Explorer shows hard porn happening on the carpet. File the bug at Apple.

Did you ever go to school, boy? I bet you won't earn $40 000 for the rest of your life to build your home supercomputer.

Go get yourself a free unsupported OS and run free unsupported apps on it. Normal people usually know what they pay for.

    Sorry for feeding frestkd.
