Neither Coke, nor Pepsi. Apple is a fine wine that only gets better with age...

i would think, and this may be influenced by my soft drink preferences, that Apple is more akin to Pepsi than Coke. Pepsi afterall is a bit of the underdog. Coke (KO) has like 110B market cap, Pepsi (PBG) ~6. Macroevil (msft) has like 200B, Apple (AAPL) around 7B. Pepsi also has a lot better style, and taste. And although one can find Coke cheaper in price in some areas, it is because it is common, and not made to the same high standards.

Apple used to be Pepsi, with John Sculley...now it's more like Cadbury-Schweppes...

not going to work... coke came first, same as apple

pepsi is a cheap imitator, same as Microsoft...

the only difference is that Microsoft was successful and Pepsi wasn't (going by market cap as you cited)

IMHO they both suck... but If I had to choose I'd take coke... something about the pepsi advertising at Shea stadium and Coke at Yankee sTadium

and seriously, which company could sooner be mistaken for a drug Microsoft or Apple? I'd have to say Apple and their lickable interface and iTunes visualizer take the 8-ball...

Apple is RC. A national brand, but with low penetration.

Is this thread very goofy, or merely odd?
