I havn't been to these boreds in a while, to busy to read up on all my apple stuff(been taking a lot of crap lately since I honostly know jack about the new line up and havn't heard any news)....but I finally really need my computer again and theres a couple problems I am facing now. Anyone remember the aps they had for OS9 to copy a DVD movie entirely onto my HD? I got a DVD thats region 2(a car video from Japan) and I really want to copy it onto my HD since its my friends. Is there any app/utility like this for OSX? (Btw I am not on Jaguar yet as I have not had the money to purchase it).

Also what is the best utility to fix my system? I have been using norton with an OSX update and it doesn't seem to help much. My OSX is slowly getting more and more messed up.

thanks

You could try forty-two for the DVD thing.

Not sure on the utilities... diskwarrior would probably be something to look at.

I may post those paragraphs later if I'm not so mad.

EDIT: Oh yea, and I vote for TechTool Pro (OS9) and Drive X (OSX). I heard they are pretty good. (Especially TTP for OS9, but they have a new version coming out soon.)

EDIT EDIT: DVD BACKUP Try that! POW!

Disk Warrior is the best disk utility for X... Norton for X will mess up your drive even more... I would only recommend using it as a last resort AFTER Disk Warrior TTP and Drive X in that order...
