Share your .MAC home pages==

Just signed up for a trial offer---debating if it's worth it, maybe as i get better at it, i feel mine is weak, http://homepage.mac.com/nofeer/Menu4.html

not like some semipro job ,a bit lackluster. i wish i had more choices or more spots on the home page to put links like yahoo, weather, text, mail etc.when you become a full member do the choices increase. I know there are lots of features some of which you can't get with other web hosting services, my cable isp adelphia offers 10mb of freee space but i have to build it my self with some composer or for 3.95 they offer a webbuilder wizard to help build one. I just want to share photos and have some nifty look to my home page. Is there a template for page of text mixed with pictues....like what we did for the summer, etc. Show me what you have done so i can learn. I'd like it to look better , or add more links/pictures to the home page. I wonder how these compare to non apple people...we need to show up the wintel crowd--with that apple at the botttom of the page it might help people see the advantages of apple computers and switch some folks. Help me learn more. are there tutorials available?

    Didn't even have anything up in my account until last week, because the options are so thin.

    seb may recognize the tune...

    There's really not a whole lot you can do with the .Mac HomePage tools other than make photo albums, newsletters, iMovie pages and stuff like that. You can get around the built-in templates if you know what you're doing. If you want a 'home page' like a web portal with an Apple look, then there's always http://livepage.apple.com/

    Here's my Homepage: http://homepage.mac.com/wallis_johnathan/

    Fairly simple. If it weren't for Apple, I probably wouldn't have a website since I don't know anything about programing.

    And yes, there is a Homepage tutorial available. See the .Mac website.

    That multi-album page is just a different kind of a HomePage option. You can choose them under the "Site Menu" tab in the .Mac HomePage builder.

    I have been using .mac for over a year and feel it's totally worth it. I certainly like it just for syncing my powerbook and powermac. Aside from putting photos up on the web effortlessly, I use the public folder to transfer large files to friend and clients.

    Most of these sites look pretty cool. I'm thinking about getting a .Mac account myself.

    It's actually just a Sony PSC-D1, with the Sony underwater housing. Thanks for the compliment. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about gear, I've been doing it for awhile, including some video.
