3G Ipod and Isight camera.

Had a really stupid idea, thought I share it with everyone though.

1.The 3g ipod is based on firewire.

2. the I sight camera is firewire.

3. The I pod will support applications beyond specified (eg itunes)

Question could you use the Ipod to capture images (or even lo res-video 640x 480 ) from the I sight? Via an app or script ?

Wouldn't this make the Ipod an input device?

Of course, we'd be talking the most ass-quality DV in the world, but hey. 'Because it's there!'

wouldnt surprise me in the least. the ipod has a very advanced processor considering its *only* an audio player. it will record audio and i think can burn cds as well......but alas, thats all unsupported now, isnt it?

This is a little more fitting in Digital Hub, discussion of digital peripherals.

    Movin' on over.
