Jobs...and John Rubinstein. I love the way that Rubinstein smirks after he says "kickass".

It doesn't say much, it's more of a visual commercial. It basically shows a guy blowing out the side of his house into a tree. Then the camera slowy pans back into the hole of the house, through a few more walls with holes in them until it stops in front of the G5 and a display. Then someone says something like (I don't remember exactly) "introducing the worlds's most powerful computer" or something similar...

maybe they've replaced the eject button with the proverbial big yellow handles.

many's the day i've longed for the rocket-assisted departure from the office at bailout time.

getting Hulked out of the house implies power, but don't punish the users, show them wielding it

Yeah, maybe wielding the Powermac as a heat sheild of sorts.

What's the ad saying? The G5 has so many fans it'll blow you into a tree?

For real? (Someone run a background check on this guy)

Hmmm... assuming you're on the up-n-up, I'm curious who made these adds. It sounds less sophisticated and more slapstick-ish than anything Apple and Chiat have done in the past. Not that it?s a bad thing necessarily but it would be a rather significant change in branding. Plain white background? Narration theme?

    Yes, for real.

You guys need to see it for yourselves. Check out ESPN. It was on between 7AM and 9AM PST in Southern California.

yes, but it's ESPN, and many of their ads tend to be edgier than mainstream tv versions.

remember ESPN's "brain" ads representing "my (sports trivia) knowledge"?

very geek humour-ish... my smack-fu can beat up your smack-fu.

(wish i could find a clip).
