someone posted a question a few weeks ago about .lit files, but nobody answered him. I know they're MS ebook reader files, but I was wondering if anyone knows about a reader for the Mac, or a way to convert them to text or whatever.

Thanks.

PS: In case there is not currently any such program, but there is some wippersnapper out there who can make use of such things there's an open source program for linux called "open-c.lit" (which is funny) available at http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/convlit.php .I haven't the faintest idea about programming so it's pretty useless for me. But I like sharing info

While we are (or at least I am) on the subject, what is "*.cbz" (seems to be associate with comic books? And can they be read on a Mac?

    Thanks,

Hi, I tested that Linux application and it works fine in Mac OS X. Unfortunately, I cannot upload it to a server, because the software seems to violate the DCMA and all my webspace is located in the US.
