Are you sure its not October?

What a series this has been. Every inning has been played like its the 9th. Back and forth games. Great excitement from the stands.

Brutal loss for the Yankees today. I think Met fans, as horrible as their team is, are now satisfied with the year as Benitez choked for the Yankees against the Red Sox.

I'm not too confident about tomorrow. Weaver is a nutcase

Why do the Yankees always win? Because no one can keep their eyes off the pinstripes...

That first game really sucked. The ump had the smallest strikezone ever...Pedro probably wasn't tossed from the game because the ump knew he was being a tard. Plus, on the same day, Onara was calling strikes about half a foot off all sides of the plate against the Giants.

Get rid of Questec, hire some permanent home plate umps instead of using that stupid rotation method.

And the Red Sox are never going to truly compete with the Yankees...Steinbrenner will just pour more money into the team at any given deadline.

After friday's loss, MLB.com reporter Ian Browne wrote, "You'd be hard-pressed to find a rivalry that lives up to the hype as often as Red Sox-Yankees."

    Yep.

    The Yankees win because:

1)They have the mostest loot by a lot

2)Brian Cashman has had his shit together

    3)Joe Torre owns your momma

4)Excellent minor league system and scouting

Although reason 4 is petering out and reason 3 won't be around too much longer. The pinstripes might help a tiny bit too.

    uhg.

**** the yankees bullpen.... spend a ton of money and still cant get quality guys you can have faith in.

pathetic. get some pitchers with heart nevermind there ****ing numbers. Benitez might have great numbers but he has no heart, no drive. He blows every big game. Mike Stanton had heart..... so we let him go.... to the ****ing mets.

Jeff Nelson had heart..... so we let him go.

    Anyways,

the state of pitching in the majors is pretty pathetic anyways.... really no decent pitchers on the market... just a bunch of number 5 starters
