Well, if you think that the poll sucks so much so as to merit you adding an 11th option ("this poll sucks"), then just lock it. I would hate to be the one who lowers the stellar content of this site. Better yet, come up with a less sucky poll. It isn't as if I posted a poll of which moderator is least liked.
I'm not sure if I found it funnier that there was a "This poll sucks" option or that the same option is most popular.

More interesting is that there are 39 overall votes, 25 votes for Moto sucks, and 22 votes for this poll sucks. This means that statistically speaking, some people who think this poll sucks are also voting for moto sucking (because 25 + 22 > 39) or that people who think that this poll sucks are voting for other options. I want to give a special "thanks" to all those people who think that this poll sucks, but vote in it anyway.
PowerBook G4 1Ghz: 7 months later, PowerBook G4 12"/17": 2 more months later
Right now we're 9 months since the last 15" revision and 7 months since the introduction of the 12"/17" models. So they're still pretty close to when they've updated in the past, but they're starting to push it if it goes another month. Anyway, it's hardly a scandal to have waited this long to update. It also makes sense that they'll want the 12, 15, and 17 on the same upgrade cycle, so they'll let the 15" hang for a little extra time until the others are ready to be updated.

Yeah it's a real mindfvck. Until you realize 3/8 of a second later that it's the percent of total votes cast, not total voters.

I understand your post, the original Ti was/still is very impressive. But I would expect Apple to update any model based on more critical variables, such as competitive analysis/maintenance of margin/component availability. These are the reasons the PB's sales are dropping, and for the iMacs - fast!.
Its no wonder SJ is pissed!, Ive no doubt SJ expected to introduce the G5 to the PB's come cooler 970's, moto's failure to deliver 7457's could very well force his hand into planb?.
Steve is personally building each and everyone. That's why MacWhispers was right when they said in May that Powerbooks were being stockpiled in the warehouses. It has taken him this long to make sure each one lives up to out standards.
A total switch to IBM produced processors, is my reasoning for the delay.
IBM wants all of Apple's chip business enough to pull this off. Apple should buy 100% of it's core processors from them, I'm sure the volume discount would be nice.

IBM wants all of Apple's chip business enough to pull this off. Apple should buy 100% of it's core processors from them, I'm sure the volume discount would be nice.
