So was this caused by optimizations to the kernel(probably not) or OpenGL(probably so). It UT20003 gets this kind of speed, what will other games get?
Oh, and what else uses OpenGL? I know most stuff is done by Quartz Extreme.

Quartz Extreme uses OpenGL, does it not? Also, OpenGL is used in many 3d games, and I believe 3D rendering software often uses OpenGL. So basically if it's that much better that is excellent.
I hope it's faster, it sucks on the PowerBook G4 12" and it really shouldn't with a 32 meg vid card.
