Apple & Evolutionism

I realize this is a probably an old topic, but I recently was directed to an essay written by "Doctor" Richard Palely entitled "Evolutionism Propaganda." Amongst other things, the author demonizes Apple as being pro-Evolutionist offering the most ridiculous items as evidence. The author encourages readers not to buy Apple computers lest they be supporting "evil."

Has Apple taken legal action against them for this slander?

Taking legal action against a quack is kinda petty.

You know the saying about wrestling a pig? That's what Apple would be doing if they bothered this guy.

That's why they're not bothering him.

Didn't the Apple name come from the Apple orchards that Jobs worked in as a kid? Or am I thinking of someone else?

I believe this site is a parody. The claims are just to absurd.

Yes, this is an old topic, and as Jante99 has pointed out, the site is a parody. The parody is perhaps a bit too subtle at times -- but that's only because the real thing being parodied gets so wacko itself at times it's hard to tell difference between reality and parody.

Dig through the web site long enough to find the Lambuel underware and you'll know you've been had.

I believe that is a good thing. As Jello Biafra once said, and I paraphrase from memory: "How come people who don't believe in evolution are always the most unevolved specimen of mankind?"

Insanely elitist (my stance, saying it is a good thing that I don't have to share this platform with other-minded people), maybe. But it'll have to be that way. Intolerance seems necessary in the battle against intolerance (the recursive approach, snake biting its own tail, suicide).
