I have some AVI files that wont play on anything, and i have windows media player for mac and quicktime. what else can i use.

Go to
http://www.versiontracker.com/
and do a search for
VLC
. That app plays just about anything. Hell, I once dropped a PDF file containing a President Bush speech and the thing played the
Zapruder Film
...

The other popular program is MPlayer... should play just about anything you throw at it.

Yeah, I havn't tried VLC, but I have MPlayer, and I liked it a lot...
