Considering you can buy the VX2000 new for under $1800 I don't see why $1200 second hand is so unlikely?

You could also get a decent VX1000 for that price or less. Make sure to get one that has a full service history and is preferably still under a service guarantee.

I'm selling one for $1000 ono, but I live in Japan.
