Let's not all forget the wonderful Education rebate Apple has right now. Buy any powerbook, HP printer, and iPod, and get $300 back. It ends Spetember 27th. The reason I bring this up is because I fell into one of these "traps" when I got my TiBook over a year ago, and the next two weeks, the 800Mhz ones came. Who knows, just throwing out speculation
I'm holding out to buy a PowerBook unitl they get speedbumped or Apple puts a G5 into them. But I don't know how much longer I can wait. I want to take advantage of the rebates
Why do people keep saying they aren't sure if they should hold out. Why do we really care? Either hold out like the rest of us or go ahead and buy, but please, stop asking incecently with the same obvious logic we already know. It's getting pretty old to hear the "should I buy now or should I wait another week?". Honestly, do yourself a favor and decide for yourself instead of wasting space in the forums. We all are wondering if we should buy or not, but not all of us are yapping to others about it.
Mods, please do something about this guy. He is truly degrading the quality of these boards.
He just likes starting threads and having people reply to HIS thread. I will not make fun though as some threads I've started weren't as good...well I thought they were but friendly mods didn't
We do not need more PowerBook threads or polls. Curb your enthusiasm.
To those who've responded: Every reply you post to threads you don't like keeps them active, and near the top of the list. If you want a thread to die, don't post in it. That way the forums are cleaner, and the Moderators don't have to lock every single thing that isn't appropriate.
