Dead man found alive?
It is not every day you find a story like this one,
CNN Link
What are your thoughts? Was he in fact dead in the first place? Was he never dead? Do we need more info?
What ever the situation how interesting a story.

I'm not surprised one bit that Bush hasn't made any statements regarding this little goof.

Didn't this used to happen all the time back in the olden days.
Actually, yes I think it did. Back in the day, people who were assumed dead would sometimes revive later. For example (and for the love of God don't let this become another religious flamewar ) in the Bible Jesus' disciples (if I recall, three women) come to the tomb 3 days after he died and was buried and thus discover the Resurrection. People back then actually used to do this regularly for the very reason above. In the cooler climate of a stone tomb, a "dead" person could very well revive.
I remember some other story (possibly an Urban Legend) about Martha Washington being exhumed some time after her death, and that when they opened the coffin they found scratch marks on the inside of the lid (huge case of the willies). THAT is really creepy if its true.

in michael crichton's book "the great train robbery" he talks about the 18th and 19th century obsession with premature burial, which led many people to bury themselves in this.

The most likely scenario is he had very low blood pressure & the presumption was made that his heart had stopped...No miracle here folks
No, the most likely scenario is they found someone else that looked like him dead and announced it to the world but later found out it wasn't him and neglected to mention that little detail to the public until the real guy was captured where they conveniently continue to still not mention the first "capture."
