If i have a .mac account can i host my website there. You know have a url like www.insertnamehere.com point to .mac

as I understand it, Apple won't host your domain NAME.
but you can register a domain name with someone else, and they will gladly point it to your .mac site.
many places will do this fairly cheaply, since you're not using thier server space.

I registered with register.com how do i get them to point it to my site?

you'll have to ask them .... I wouldn't expect to pay more than maybe $19.95 / year for the service.

I registered with register.com how do i get them to point it to my site?
