Does anyone know of a DVD player app for system X that de-interlaces? I have no TV and the picture on my monitor is better anyway, except for the annoying interlace scanlines that show up if there is any fast movement.

I believe Afer Effects will de-interlace

FCP (that is Final Cut Pro) should also do it . . . I think . . .

oh yeah . . . but it takes a really long time . . . is it really worth it? . . . . decent TVs are really cheap and the image quality of DVDs made on personal computers is astronomically better on Video monitors or TVs

Does DVD player in Panther do it? VLC does but VLC is bugtastic.
