Best app for .avi?

What's the best app for playing .avi movies, I can't seem to find a decent one.

    1) MPlayer

    2) VLC



    Find both by searching on either VersionTracker or MacUpdate

    I'd put them in this order:

    1. VLC

    2. mPlayer
