iPod earphone jack :(

it's come loose and most of the time I can only hear the right ear... if I wiggle it a bit I can eventually have precarious stereo sound but I often lose it...



can I ship it to apple to have it repaired (or even better, replaced with one of the new ones?) or will they blame me for mistreating my ipod (although I don't think I have...)

    My friend had the same problem.

    He took the ipod in to a local apple reseller with the receipt and it was repaired for free. He bought it in Milan and had it repaired in Frankfurt. It was about 18 months old.

    oh that's good... but I'm not sure where to have it repaired cause I bought it in london stansted airport, live in rome, but will be moving to new hampshire in a few days...
