Is it me or does UT (the old one) not work in OS X anymore? I reinstall it, apply the 436 update, then the OS X v3 update, and it says Error Exception C++0=48 or some crap like that on Linking All Objects, right when it's about done loading. They were so close to done on it I wish they'd finish it! Just needs music, and, well, to work. And Panther compatibility.

I was getting that error back when I reinstalled UT with the X beta 3 a few months ago.

I do recall that swapping the OS9/OSX .ini files (or just trashing them altogether) fixed the issue.

don't worry - ut classic redemption is on its way, thanks to http://www.utpg.org/ and ryan gordon (the gentleman who ported ut2003, amongst other things). he hasn't released any binaries yet, but he's made substantial progress.

he keeps his .plan relatively up to date, for those who are completely desperate:

Good because Daver that didn't work. And it even says that in Classic. Must be because I'm on such new hardware. (PBG412")
