I know this has been addressed here before, but can you give me the name of some sources to buy inexpensive ram for my new 1.25ghz 17" imac.
Thanks in advance.

inexpensive RAM usually equals low quality RAM which equals constant kernal panics.
I buy all my RAM from
Crucial
.
I've heard that
OWC
is good, but I've never used their RAM before.
Let me stress, OS X (esp 10.2) is very picky about the RAM you use. Be sure to buy quality RAM, or you may end up regretting it.
edit: Oops! I forgot to link to the RAM at
Cruical

I just bought a 512 stick from Crucial a few weeks ago for My G4 iMac and it's doing Jim Dandy. Price was great too.
