What are some good legal bittorrent sites to get torrent files for OS X.

    The way bit torrent works is so retarded. Why can't it just be like any other p2p with a client and the ability to Search.

    Y'all would probably understand BitTorrent better if you realized that it's more of a Web download accelerator, not a P2P file-sharing app.

    mIMAC searches BitTorrent but lets be honest...how many legal torrents are you going to find? Not many legal files are available on BitTorrent I'd guess.



    Not sure if any of these will help you as I haven't looked through them but this is a list of a couple BitTorrent trackers...

    http://gametab.com/files/torrents.php is one of my favorite. It hosts a lot of Game related files (videos, demos, etc). Also, http://f.scarywater.net hosts BitTorrents for websites that get slashdotted.



    Actually, today I set up my own torrent to host my videos. You can see the files here: http://torrent.andrewhitchcock.org/files/. Unfortunately, I have to turn off my computer tonight, but if you check it out tomorrow during the daytime (Monday, September 22nd, PST) I will seed some of the files when I wake up. I haven't had anyone test these yet, so if they don't work, could you message me?

    I've started to sour on many sites out there. Esp. that torrentskicksass one. They've done killed it. Making people register limits the number of people and that limits BT significantly. Morons.

    Odd. I've found that kickass site has improved since they forced people to register. Maybe more people are guilted into seeding longer.
