Man, you really should go and talk to someone about your paranoia.

Stupidity is universal, no matter what RollerBovine says.

I wonder if this thread has a political agenda behind it. Hmm.

Fact: Solider who stuck his arm in the cage is a fuking idiot. "Now junior remember: don't feed the nice animals or bad things could happen to you." My fourth grade nephew is intelligent enough to figure this out. If G.I. Joe-Bob loses his hand to infection / amputation, he deserves it.

Fact: Solider who shot Tiger was probably looking for an excuse to shoot one of the furry animals, thus making him an even bigger idiot.

Fact: None of this has any bearing on the legitimacy of the war in Iraq.

Thank you, have a nice eveing.

"A later incident takes up much less screen time and is anything but spectacular, but it offers a more succinct and telling critique of American ignorance: Chef, searching the forest for mangoes, is suddenly charged by the last enemy he ever expected: a tiger. It's an ingenious illustration of the idea that America had no business being in this alien jungle."

What exactly does citing this idiot soldiers incredibly stupid actions have to do with a political allignment

Is this to say that if one were a Conservative that they would not find this arshole of a drunken fool idiot moron soldier's actions stupid?

I mean is that really what you are saying?

It shouldn't be too difficult to follow the train of logic out of the station:

    Moron soldier

    moron soldier's stupid actions

moronic actions not recognized as moronic

morons do not recognize moronic actions for what they are

X denies that Moron Soldier's moronic actions were moronic

    therefore

    well . . . I assume you can follow the boxcar . . .

and just to add a cherry on top:

perhaps the reason for refusing to see these actions as unusually stupid is: political allignment ---?!?!?

Spline you have good posts usually but you are not thinking. Zoos are now unfortunately for human entertainment but the more important reason really is genetic diversity. Zoos across the world coordinate to maintain this. Also they educate.

On topic, I think the soldier in question should be fed to a tiger. Now THAT is a douche.

zoo shit aside, I thought US Military personnel are STRICKLY prohibited from drinking alcohol in the middle east??!!?!?! And if they do it must be in places where they cannot or will not offend the local population.

Eff you. Just because I don't knee jerk into anti-american genuflections when I read a news story from Iraq doesn't mean I'm an ignorant american.
