Is there an export option in eudora on the pc? If so, try exporting in mbox format. Then, when you get the new computer, transfer those files over to it and run mail.app. It'll ask if you want to import from another mail program and Eudora is one of them.

If you want to continue using Eudora, this looks to be the way to go. There is an OS X native version of Eudora available and its users continue to swear by it. Give it a whirl and see what you think. If you don't like it, then I'm positive that converting to mail.app from Mac Eudora will work.
