US iPod in the UK, will it work?

Hi,

A few friends and I are going over to New York for a long weekend in November, and thought we'd pick ourselves up some iPods while we are there (take advantage of the price difference).

However, we're a bit concerned that the iPod wouldn't work with the UKs electricity supply (i.e does the power adapter that comes with iPod happily accept 240V @ 50Hz?).

Anyone had any experience of bringing an iPod back from across the pond?

The iPod is dual voltage. I use mine in India with no problems.

Just looked at the technical specs page on apples site - it's all in there. D'oh!

Just make sure you can plug it into the wall. You might need the international power adaptors.

If you will always charge off a computer the this is not a problem

i use my ipod in the middle east all the time. To be clear you will need just the plug adapter for wherever you are, not the more costly voltage adapter. Plug adapters cost about $1-3...

    enjoy it.
