I have the new 12 inch Super Drive. It comes with 256 RAM. If I upgrade the RAM to say, 512 Megs more, do you think there will be a noticeable difference in the performance? I do feel some slags sometimes with this machine.

Absolutely get more RAM. OS X loves RAM and the more you have, the better. 768 MB should be perfect.

Thanks to the link to RAM. Only $96 for 512MB! Just to be sure, my new 12" AlPB, 1GHZ, takes DDR 2100 SO-DIMM, right?

Using 256MB of RAM in my 12" PowerBook makes me want to kill people.

I don't want to imagine what you'd do on my old iBook 500 in 10.1 with 128.
