AAC problem with iTunes for windows.
iTunes installer updated quicktime and everything
I ripped the nirvana unplugged album in 192 AAC and itunes won't play it...
What gives?
EDIT: OK iTunes doesn't wanna play any cds ripped or straight from the cdrom drives. Tried from two internal and one external firewire drive. I've tried with many cds all which work in every media app except iTUNES suchas WMP REAL WINAMP. I've reinstalled itunes 3 times and rebooted after each install. I don't get it. 4.1 works flawlessly on my two macs. DAMN PC! hehehe. Any help people?

#1 Remember it's Windows. So reboot and try again
#2 Rip a track in mp3 and WAV to see if it's just AAC
#3 Rip a track from a differnent CD to see if it's just that CD
using windows xp 1.6ghz p4 512 rdram nothing other than itunes running.
I have reset the ripping prefs to default and it still doesn't rip audio.

is your cd-rom connected to your soundcard? the one that you're ripping from. I had a simliar problem with my pc like 2 years ago with the same problem.
Hmm good point i'll check that later. Stupid pc problems.

Ripping CDs does not use the sound card.

iTunes should play the CD's. Your problem is in your system settings somewhere.

Keeping in mind that you were on your Windows machine, I thought you meant reinstall your OS at first...
Good luck.
