but now I have requested my account be revoked.

Hey Kormac...love you man!

It's time for me to leave this message board.

And, I was just a few days short of FIVE FULL YEARS!!!!! HERE!!!

Wow. That's an anniversary! (In my mind only it appears)

God Bless each and every one of you and good luck in your endeavors!

A cry for attention? Why would you revoke membership? Why would you want us to know this? Just because an admin tapped you on the fingers?

I second that. Come on, JRC, get real. We've ALL be reprimanded or had a thread locked or moved at least once in our tenure here. You've just got to shrug it off, say a demeaning curse word in your internal monologue toward the mod or admin in question, and then forget about it.

    Chill, bro.

5 years, post count less than most of the people here.

At first I thought maybe he had decided to just up and leave, having had his fill of AI goodness. Maybe there are ulterior motives at play however. If it's because of a thread lock, man, that's the sign that you're at least somewhat engaged in the discussion around here. I'd be more disappointed if I had been around five years and never had a thread locked. One a year even...

    No BFD IMO.

getting a thread locked is no big deal.

the big deal comes from this hissy fit you throw after the fact. (in theory)

then it becomes a little tougher to show your face around AI.

Could someone explain what events led JRC to this decision? It seems strange to actually announce your departure. Like you want to rub it in!!

So did you guys revoke his account as requested or what?

Do I get to see a big, bright red REVOKED under his name when I read this post?

If he's not coming back then why's he asked for his account to be revoked? That's just stupid
  • Reply 15 of 50
He'll be back... nobody ever seems to be able to actually leave this place for good. He'll most likely register a new account and pretend his old one never existed. Or his testicles will descend, he'll suck it up, and just start posting again.
