Mac Software
edited January 2014
I want to back up my DVD movies on to another DVD or CD. Is there a software (open source or free?) that allows this? I have a Super Drive.
Thanks!

1st use the following program to rip the VOB file to your hard drive:

Then you can use a compression program like FFMpegX to make the file small enough to fit on a DVD or CD:

DVDBackup
DVD2One
Toast
That is the best way to backup a DVD. Also I think the fastest. It is worth the money and DVDBackup takes off all 3 kinds of encryption.
