JVC GR-DVL 167 EG and Macs?

Does anyone know if JVC GR-DVL 167 EG is mac compatible? My cousin is thinking on getting a mac, and I do know for sure her digicam and printer will work on mac. But would this device? It would be crucial for her to work.

Tell me you are using it on a mac, or that it jsut works. I did not see it on apple's compatibility chart.

It may also be known as JVC GR-DVL920 in the States.
