AHIG updated for Panther.

Not too much unexpected here. Mostly cosmetic updates, with instructions for setting new and updated controls. A bit Mac philosophy in a new section called "The Macintosh Experience".
Also, this addition for the rationale for making a Brushed Window:

Let's see, Safari is brushed metal because it...
* Provides an interface for a digital peripheral, such as a camera, or an interface for managing data shared with digital peripherals?iPhoto or iSync, for example. no
* Strives to re-create a familiar physical device?Calculator or DVD Player, for example. no
* Provides a source list to navigate information?for example, iTunes or the Finder. and no
Hmm...

Safari is for managing Bookmarks. When the bookmark view is open its just like iTunes or the Finder.

(On edit: nevermind, uh -- what Xool said.)
- Finder: Yes (source list) and non-metal when no source list.
- Safari: Yes (source list, kind of)
- iTunes: Yes (source list)
- iCal: Yes (source list)
- iMovie: Yes (interface to device)
- iPhoto: Yes (interface to device and source list)
- iSync: Yes (interface)
- Address Book: Yes (recreate physical device, sort of)
There's more but I can't be bothered. Basically I think the new addition means they have consistent use of metal as far as the HIG are concerned.
