So anyone here with one of those new aluminum PowerBooks notice any changes to the amount of heat they radiate while using Panther, instead of Jag?

I could be imagining it, but I swear my 12" PB runs less-hot than it did under Jaguar.

Is this due to power management??? If this is true then in theory your battery will last longer in a given day.

I assume that if certain code is optimized in Panther, it uses less power to execute the code, which would lead to cooler running.

My battery meter says that it runs longer, but i think it is only an update to the meter and not the actual battery life which I think was always underrepresented.
Seems to run just as hot.
