I didnt realise wacom made these...

It's time for apple to bring out its own tablet range (or apple branded/designed wacoms).

Neat stuff for sure. I think Wacom is the only player in this market for a reason. It's too smal even for Apple. The only folks that buy these things are graphics professionals. Not that I don't lust for one every day of my life mind you...

I cant see Apple producing these babies, the market for these is a niche. I actually dont think many pros even use em.

I'm not a graphics professional (yet) and I own a 6x8 wacom intous 2 USB- its great! I love it, but I do plan on becoming a graphics professional once I graduate from MSU.

I did get a summer internship totally revamping a crappy site

It's a scary purchase to make, and once you do I think you'd never want to go back...if the performance were there.

Check out the price tag on these babies. Now imagine what Apple would be charging for them, even figuring in the increased demand.

    Still, it would rock.

I work in graphic design and publishing...I guess I'm a 'graphics pro' ...I would love Apple to bring out a Tablet...I bought my first Wacom a good few years ago, and now use tablets exclusively (now use an Intuous 2). In fact, I couldn't get any work done without them...

However even in the graphics market they are not universally used...it is indeed a very small market....the R & D would be too much outlay for too small a return for Apple.

I mean, you can get a Wacom Graphire 2 for about £60 in the UK...I doubt Apple would be able to get anywhere near this price wise...
