grrrr

this movie is NOT the same one that rumor sites talked about a week ago - here's what I said in the other locked thread

"I just found this video at a carracho server. It shows an "apple pda prototype" booting.

I don't quite know what to think -it looks real, but I dunno, the name (iNew) just sounds so totally bogus..."

This is NOT the same movie as the one that circulated around the net several weeks ago. It looks like a prototype in a Visor Prism shell, and doesn't have a HD. The startup is also much faster, probably because the OS must be on Flash ROM or something as there is no HD.

Not as fun as the last video. Not nearly as much time put into making the screen look like stuff is really happening. Lots of that label maker stuff and fun warnings all over the Handspring Prism used in the shoot.

Looks like Apple doesn' t know how to spell 'license'

    'licence'?

    haha.

Probably not too tough to make with some slight palm softare dev knowhow.

looks like they were mor einterested in showing us the start up and that the screen was real than actually showing functionality.

Oh! it's because there is none!

    Nice try, though.

Full color fakes are more fun, in my opinion.

licence, n. and v. British variant spelling of "license". q.v. "defence"

I'll send you a bill for the clue.
