Macromedia MX 2004 Trial Software Installs?
Has anyone had any luck installing any MX 2004 trials in Panther?
I've got Dreamweaver MX installed, and tried to install the MX 2004 trial for it, but I could never get passed the Installer. It appeared to start installing, but after a few folders had been installed, it looked like an AppleScript opened up, did something, then another VISE installer opened up asking for my Computer password - so I entered that in, then it all went around in a loop. I couldn't get anywhere with it.
I tried installing the Flash MX 2004 trial (I didn't have any previous copy of Flash installed) - and the same type of problem happened.
Has anyone else had this problem? Did you get it working somehow in the end?
My version of Dreamweaver MX works fine after the Upgrade from Jaguar.

Do you sync your iDisk (local copy)? This is known to cause problems with the Vise Installer. Remove the local copy of your iDisk and try again!
So, you mean to change the setting in Sys.Prefs. to not use a Local Copy?
It's installing right now.
Once it has done, can I re-enable the local iDisk?
Is there any news on Apple/VISE fixing this problem?

You can re-enable (and therefore re-establish the local copy) afterwards.
If you look at the BOM that was posted for the new 10.3.1 build, there is a lot of webdav_fs stuff in there, which is what iDisk sync uses. This may point to a fix for the problem.
