Mail - The mailbox viewer

Its always been on the left side, well mail crashed on me today, first time having a program crash in 2 months of owning my mac. Which is great. But now my message box is on the right, how do i move it back to the left? I dont like it on the right.

Close the mailbox drawer, move the window to the right, and open it again.
