I don't know what caused it. It started when I was surfing and a page started to download an unrequested file to me. ram.ram Actually everything was frozen on the computer. I could open them by clicking on them I just couldn't drag anything.
After a bit of going around on my computer, trying to figure it out I realized that Apple in on the W. coast, so tech support was still open. I called they had me delete a few things from preferences, didn't work. They then had me run first aid from the startup disk. First aid told me that there were overlapping segments. I logged back into my account and the problem is gone.
