For those who think 23" LCDs are puny... gang up to 32 DVI flat panels together!

Got cash and retinas to burn?

if each screen is 16x9 Widescreen and you pack 32 10x30" LCDs running 1024x768 res each = $60K

if you want the ultimate in high res...

32 10x22" LCDs running 3840x2400 res each, = only $142K

Aluminum housings, too.

Hey Santa Steve... !

Even more importantly, is there a commercially available graphics card that could handle such a beast?

Matrox make quad output cards, you would only 3 to run that monitor. IBM make some fat cards as well, to run their ultra hi res monitors.

I actually wouldn't want all those screens. That's just tooooooo much. two 20" is just enough.

A little rearranging of the component screens, and you could use this system for some pretty advanced computer gaming.

And people used to think tension wires in apeture grille monitors were annoying.

I think I'll wait for the holographic 10' screen.
