I've lost 6 pounds in about a week thanks to a nasty cold. I had such a bad cough, I started hacking up blood. Whenever I tried to eat, it'd get so irritated I'd barf.

btw Eugene, you can easily lose 3-4kg of weight smply because of water loss. This summer it was so damn hot here that I tried weighing myself in the evening and then when I woke up, before piddling, lost 3kg... 3.5 after piddle
Anyway, no doubt some weight was lost from "other parts". I had malaria once and lost about 1/4 of my body weight. Know how THAT feels.

5'10", 135 pounds. My body looks great!
Sounds like the bad flu that is going around. My wife and son had similar symptoms and were sick for almost two weeks. Watch out for secondary infections as well (see your doctor!). Take care of yourself.
don't say that all canadians are tall, or someone won't let me ever go to canadia ..
leonis, if you want to lose some lbs fast, i can try to send you some weird thing i got sunday .. it feels a bit like an allergic reaction, and as well like a stomach infection. nasty .. but will make you lose for sure.

the reason why I am so "heavy" at this height is, I believe, is because of my heavy bones.
