I remember reading about a year ago Apple getting a patent on a method of changing colors for enclosures...
I've been curious about which product this will apply to. I originally thought of pulsating iMacs with pulsating leds showing through a translucent cover...
It seems more obvious to be iPod now. Mood changing iPod.
I'd love to see that.
As for my iPod colour. The white is classy.
Alu iPod. Tangerine iPod. Blue Berry iPod. Key Lime iPod...
I think the colours Apple had before on the iBook were okay. But the iMac and iBook colours have been done. Apple don't re-hash under Jobs and Ive.
It will be something new. Maybe even the colours in the iPod advert's backgrounds?
Please, Apple, do away with the subdued pale tones and go with some more expressive colors again. No more light grey, stone grey, dark white, dull silver etc.pp.
The white-in-white as in the current iPod has grown so old, just like the silver-in-grey (Ti/Albook, G4/G5 tower). If I want to be bored visually, I go and frequent Dell, thank you very much.
Would Apple's patent (don't ask for a URL!) about changing the exterior colour of a computing device be relevent here? It would certainly see that way with Wrong Robot's idea.

A lemon-yellow iPod would be my choice!
