removing icons from system preference panel

i have buncha apps i don't use anymore like little snitch or shapeshifter and i'd like to remove them from sys pref. how can i do this? thanks

    when you install each of those apps they should have had a read me that said where each was installed... download them again to see where that was...



    usually it is in ~/Library/Preference Panes/ or /root/Library/Preference Panes/



    if they are really naughty they would be in /root/System/Library/Preference Panes/ (or something like that, this is where the SYSTEM preference panes are if you want to get rid of some of them...)
