The iBook still looks great. It recently got a G4. But I still think a slight redesign can't be far off. A tweaked form factor. But not far away from where it is now. Maybe the iMac3 may offer some clues...
The Powerbook 12 inch has stolen some of the iBook's thunder in recent quarters.
I can see Apple jazzing the iBook before too long...
Dude, freakin' relax. All I was saying is you couldn't wait one week?
"Ensign,"
No. No I couldn't wait one week. I'm smack in the middle of a project I'm working on for my students that involves a LOT of MPEG 2 encoding of 10-20 minute video clips. Ever try doing that on a 600 MHz G3?
I'm talking about 3-4 HOURS worth of encoding that on a G4 machine would take 15-20 MINUTES.
You never know. Who expected to see the PowerBook line extended to 3 different sized models, only weeks after a speed boost? We were all saying: "The iMac line will be standardised by the 17" etc...". m.
