you really need to pull people in, sucker them into responding. now, a line like "use XP because OSX suxors" is really going to get no traction. who is going to respond to that? maybe a kiddie or two, but you'll never get a 20 page response to that garbage.
see, to really troll right you've got to get people pulled along with you. start with some stuff that sounds informed and/or intelligent. concede a point or two, and you'll get people agreeing with you.
when you sucker them in, then come out with the insults. then you start with a few underhanded jabs at your topic, then top it all off with a real flourish. something sure to boil the blood.
then sit back and watch the feeding frenzy.
