Wouldn't the 26th make more sense, the Monday right after the anniversary? Apple have released new stuff on Monday from what I remember, the eMac being one. Saturday just doesn't seem right to me.

Yea, IIRC, only software has been released on a Saturday. I imagine a hardware release would happen on a weekday for maximum exposure.
It looks like all the stops are being pulled out for iPods and iTMS at the Super Bowl. The speed bumps will likely occur later in February. What was the ship date for the G5 Xserves? Around that time.
Just gotta get Apple in the right mood to put out!
I am going through my nightstand looking for Apple Aphrodisiacs... I wish I knew what worked... I could sell it for more than Viagra. (It's not a hard sales pitch- 5 minutes of bliss versus years of 3 gigger POWER. YOU do the math...
"Think Different" being a slogan, I think we can skip the cliche stuff like wine, roses and chocolates. 8)

Although Hardware is usually a Tuesday announcement for some reason that I am completely unaware of.
That would make a good trivia Question. Why does Apple announce hardware on Tuesdays, and Software on Saturdays? Anybody know that answer?

Yeah that's right, get lucky... I know you'll rag on me but it's true I haven't gotten any for awhile.
But hey, since I having been wasting my money on a lady, I have a sweet Rev. B PowerMac G5 in a few days!

What do you think should I buy her an iTunes gift certifricate with some roses?

1 and 3 chance I'll get lucky!!!
But this still doesn't solve my need for a PowerMac Rev.B ....
Humm... what else could I do?
