Another stupid (maybe) question....

I am trying to play some .avi files on my computer, but when I open them a warning box comes up saying "required compressor could not be found". Is there something I need to download? I am using the latest version of quicktime.

Try Windows Media Player for Mac. I'm not sure it'd work, but I tend to think it should.
