Holy Incomprehensibility Batman!

So I'm watching NASA TV to catch replays of awesome MER briefings.

Next program event is the Swearing in of NASA's new CFO, Gwendolyn Brown.

Scheduled replay under 35 min from now... 10PM EST 1/26/04 on NASA TV

" target="_blank">350Kbps RealPlayer Link

After a video version of the Star Spangled Tremolo NailsOnBlackboard by Patti LaBelle,

up comes a man of the cloth to bless/say prayer/give invocation.

Maybe somebody erased random words from his speech notes or something.

Dude had me alternating between WTF and absolute stitches during his sermon.

"We must still and allow the Lord to untie our knots and have his way with us"

\

Maybe some of our regular sermon listeners can watch this and clarify.

Is it just me, or could this be the Least. Coherent. Sermon. Ever.

Certainly up for the Exacta of Worst Anthem rendition and LCS consecutively.

Watch and judge for yourself more NASA TV sources

Less than 30 min to go... sorry for short notice...

had post written. cmd-q and w too close together.

Struck me as a tad personal. Rather than the "Lord thank you for this wonderful solar system that we explore so as to understand your greatness BLAH BLAH BLAH" We get "All we need is Gods love and help Gwen because she's weak like all of use" or some such stuff.

ok, so maybe it actually made more sense the second time through

i was multitasking during first viewing. ymmv

don't know if this will replay again (not on NASA TV's schedule page after this)

so if mods want to kill this thread it might save others the belated headscratching

We had a pretty darned hysterical service at my church several sundays ago. It was a special service where the members do the service instead of the pastor. EVERYTHING that could go wrong went wrong. It was painfully funny, made funnier because our church is so small.
