Snail Mail

My girlfriend and I recently installed Panther on our computers. I know Apple has touted the new features, but it seems that Mail now takes much longer to open than it did previously. Its somewhat strange, but in the dock the application appears to launch in a reasonable amount of time but the application doesnt actually show up till a while later.



Anywho, just wondering if anyone has noticed the same thing.

    What kind of computers are they, if they are relatively new I would probably try deleting the preference file/s for Mail. If that doesn't work, stay tuned, I'm sure someone else here has a fix! Mine seems to open quick as a snap..
