I stay away from those kind of snacks ever since I got one of these. For 3 days it grew and grew until the wrapper exploded. Ever since then I realized that dingdongs and simular snacks were more alive than the tasty steak I had last night and probably have feelings, sensuous, and maybe even a soul too. I feel so evil.
I have heard that they have to carbon date hostess and little debbie products to find out how old they are due to the amount of preservatives in them. Like in the 90's when they found some twinkies behind a shelf in a supermarket warehouse that was from the early 70's and they were fresh as a daisy.
if you eat enough of that stuff and you'll never decompose in the grave.
I like Nutty Bars too. And I'm pissed because the vending machine here that NORMALLY has them has run out. Now there are mini ritz sandwiches there! Come ON.
I voted Oatmeal Cream Pies, but really, I think Little Debbie products are generally gross. The icing/cream on all the products tastes and feels really cheap, as does the cake.
i don't understand hostess products. i have never had them because they cost 2.5 times as much as little debbies...why? it seems silly that one highly processed sweet tooth product of similar substance should cost so much more than its competition
I think the reason that so few have voted for my favorite, the Swiss Rolls, is because not many people understand how to eat them properly...
1. Chill them in the refrigerator for one day, or the freezer for two hours.
2, Unwrap the package
3. Determine the direction of the swirl and follow the outside to where the roll firsts wraps into itself at the bottom of the roll. Nibble this ridge away, exposing where the chocolate sheathing lays atop the cake-like body of the roll.
4, Carefully scrape the outer covering away from the cake-like body using your lower front teeth as a scraping tool. Eat this outer covering.
5. Once the "fuzzy" cake-like body of the roll has been exposed turn your attention to the chocolate covered ends of the roll - scrape them clean in a manner similar to step #4.
6. Once the chocolate covering has been completely removed begin unfurling the cake-like body of the roll, taking time to run your tongue along the inside seam of the opening roll to diligently release the creme-filling from the chocolate cake-like material. Yes, this might look vaguely pornographic if you are doing it correctly, best to take your Swiss Roll into a darkened room, well away from windows or prying eyes.
7. If any cake-like material is left eat it like an unfurling ribbon.
8. Repeat steps 1-7 with the second roll from the 2-pack.

Nutty bars also rock my world.
or maybe that was another forum \
either way, nutty bars are my fav.
Little Debbie cakes have two purposes in life:
1) To be the inspiration for the names of the band members of Man... or Astroman?
2) To be made fun of in songs by Southern Culture on the Skids.
Other than that, I hear they're great commercial insulation...

Admit it, it's because you figured out how to shake it for free goodies, didn't you?

I'm going to Target tomorrow just to buy another box.
