    Whew! Thanks mustang!

I was suffering withdrawal symptoms there for a moment...

To those just reading this, the Stanford stats servers went down a few days ago due to corruption of some sort.

They are back online, however it has thrown a monkey wrench in our graphs which we closely monitor and you can monitor as well.

All of us at TEAM MAC OSX want to thank our many friends here at AppleInsider for helping us become even more of a major contributor to this major scientific effort than we had been in the past.

Earlier posts in this thread indicate where your TEAM was then.

Look at where we are now! Thanks to many of you.

    TEAM MAC OSX

There are many links off of the page above. You might see some familiar "handles" there. (Our friend Alcimedes comes immediately to mind) 8)

Please consider joining us if you have not done so already. It is definitely a worthy cause. Plus: Folding is a lot of fun!

Thank you very much for your participation ipodandimac!

There is a place at the Stanford site where you can check to make sure that your folding handle is unique. They are doing some site work now, and it isn't working. So anyone interested can try here instead.

ipodandimac would be a GREAT folding name AND it is not in use as of 1827 GMT so grab it!

Do not use an email address for your nickname. It sometimes makes it difficult to check your stats.

Your team should be entered as 1971 when you first launch the program. That's us.

    So:

    Name: ipodandimac (or your choice)

    Team Number: 1971

Come over to your TEAM site and register so that we can insure that your production is maximized (and that you'll have fun with the project).

Here is the TEAM site link.

Yeah! We can now crack into Zo's machine!

Nah, it is the real deal. If you wanna know what they are up to take a look at Stanfords direct site... Or you can check our teams forums as KA4EYT suggested, lots to be found there. A lot slower pace than here at AI, but a very good community of people dedicated to helping others get their machines folding to their utmost capacity. Hope to see you in the stats! 8)

Why are we brining back a 2 month old thread?

    Let it die peacefully.
  • Reply 168 of 170
To spread the word. Let people know about the good things Stanford is doing. That way the world will be a better place. Actually, I think it was because ipodandimac and ZO joined in the project. They were just spreading the news, and we received the message. Thanks guys! Hope to see you around the Team MacOS X forums! Fold on!

actually mrmacman, one might ask why you posted in a thread that hadn't had any posts in two days, just to ask to let it die peacefully. seems a bit counter productive, doesn't it?

For those who may not know, the team forums for TeamMacOSX folding have been changed to a new URL and Host. The new URL is http://www.teammacosx.org and it is fully functional. If you are not involved the time is right and so is the cause.
